Clues:

Hi! My name is Bear and I am a Dog Scout as well as a Reading Education Assistance Dog ®. I work at the library in Old Mission Elementary School with my mom listening to kids read books to me.

Traverse City Library can be found by heading north on Garfield Rd (towards the bay) until you come to 8th St. Turn west (left on 8th St) and then south (left) on Woodmere. You will see the Traverse City Library on your right side. It is the building with the big clock tower. Drive past the entrance to the library and turn right at the first light. You have now entered Hull Park. Follow the drive until you find the parking area at the sailing club. Park here and your adventure begins.

There is a paved path on the left side of the parking area. Follow this until you reach the Sun. Continue on, passing Mercury, Venus, and finally Earth. Just past Earth, you will see information on the TART trail. Behind – and to the right – of the TART trail sign, there are four large trees. The box is hidden here. Please use discretion as this is a busy area – recover extremely well.

If you choose to continue on this path, you will follow the Boardman River on a very nice walking trail. Or, you can go across the road to the Traverse City Library & explore their gardens.
