This box is in Walker Springs Park in west Knoxville. Finding the park is a bit of a hunt itself. But once you get there, start at the big Gazebo. If you're a kid, run to the playground and slide down the twisty slide (if you're a grown-up you can skip that part) then go over to the blue and green sign. Go past the sign down the windy walking trail until you find a bench on the right. Sit down. Search the treetops in the distance straight ahead and look for a blue ribbon from a long-ago lost kite and run across the grass to right underneath that spot. Get back on the path and walk past another bench on your left. Now look for a bridge and go across it (but don't step off yet!). Put your toes right on the edge of the bridge and start walking. If you're a kid take about 100 steps. If you're a grown-up, try to make your steps kid-sized. Since we all have different strides though, start looking to your right after 70 or 80 just to be safe. You're looking for a pair of fallen logs. Between the two and (hopefully!) covered with sticks and bark and leaves you'll find the birthday box (which is actually a large can with a white lid). Have fun!
