This is a simple hike around Break Heart Pond which takes about an hour to complete. (Pond will always be on your left.)
Take Route 165, off Route 3. Take right at a white Baptist church, on Frosty Hollow Road. Follow until you see a sign for E-Huntee. Bear right following signs for Break Heart. Follow until you come to the pond. Parking lot is on the left. Start trail at the "spill way" and bridge. At folk, bear left (see sign for Break Heart Trail). Across from sign is a foundation. Go down the stairs...go straight, and find Peanut Butter (box 1) hidden in the wall.
To find Jelly (box 2), continue to follow yellow blazes. Pass over bridge...pass over a long half-split log...come to a folk, and double yellow blazes, bear left. Pass over bridge. Immediately after, keep straight! Do not bear right following yellow blazes. Come to folk, bear left. Follow along until you see a stone wall running parrallel on your right. See the pond on your left. Look for a large opening in the stone wall, with a short path that leads to a large foundation. Go down the stairs. In the left wall (long side), under the large pine tree is hidden Jelly. Congratulations! You've found Peanut Butter & Jelly.
Continue following the trail for about 7 mts., until you arrive back at the parking lot.
P.S. Wear orange during hunting season!
