From Dayton: Take I75 South to the Hamilton exit, Route 129. Follow Route 129 into downtown Hamilton!!!. At the first traffic light past the railroad underpass, turn left. Follow the signs to State Route 128. After you cross the Columbia Bridge, turn left on to Pyramid Hill Blvd. Follow the signs to Pyramid Hill. The park will be on your right. There is a $5 entrance fee.

Pyramid Hill is an amazing park with a large collection of outdoor sculpture (http://www.pyramidhill.org/). After looking at a map, or driving around, find the Early Pioneer House (see picture).

After looking inside the house, come outside and stand at the right corner of the house facing the Pyramid Obelisk.

The Pyramid Obelisk made by Carl Billingsley. This piece of art was installed in 1997 and is 22 feet high. Carl was the winner fo the “Semi-Grand Prize” at the Toya-Mura International Sculpture Biennial in Japan.

Point your left arm at the Obelisk; you should be pointing at a whitish rock in the wall. Look behind it where you will find Charley’s Bluebird. Be careful when removing the stones (these are not native to the wall) and please put back carefully while covering the letterbox.
