(Bring Your Own Bread Crumbs)

Start at Atlanta’s Brookhaven MARTA station. It is about 1 mile north of Lenox Mall on Peachtree Road. Drive around until you find the flagpole. With flagpole on your right, look straight ahead and find our favorite breakfast spot.

Exit and turn right. Slow down as you approach a fire station on the left. Note the Station number. That number is “X”. Go X streets past the station and turn right.

You will go downhill to a 4-way stop. Here the roads take their names from, and imitate, the scenic rivers of North Georgia. Just as the Cartecay and Ellijay Rivers merge into the Coosawattee River, so do the like-named roads merge here to become Coosawattee.

Take the Coosawattee uphill until you have crossed X speed bumps. The turn left.
You will notice that light posts each have numbers affixed to them. Park near pole 226347.

Take the sidewalk for a short neighborhood stroll. Which way, you ask? Don’t take a vote, but do go the Democratic way. Stop at the street. Now turn right and pass X mailboxes, then X more. Follow the stones to the destination.

Once there, turn your back to the fountain. In front of your eyes is a power meter spinning slowly. Now reach up, and follow your nose (on your tippy toes) to the letterbox. Remove it, stamp up, and re-hide carefully. By now, the visitors will have made their way to you. I hope you brought them some bread crumbs!
