This box is located in Wheaton Farm a conservation and recreation area on Bay Rd in Easton, between Rt 106 and 495. It is over 800 acres in size with lots of trails to explore.
On Bay Rd look for an old barn with the Wheaton Farm sign in front(about # 520 by street numbers). The barn is on one side of the road, most of the property is on the other.

The parking area to use is across the street from the barn through a metal gate down a paved driveway, park near the shiny silver gate in the parking lot.

With the gate to your back go down the dirt road to your right.
Over a bridge to the 1'st trail intersection.
Now go right down the trail to a field.
Where the trail enters the field go left on the trail not into the field.
You will pass an old fire ring of stones on the trail, keep going straight.
Now be carefull, as 3 trails will come together soon.
At this intersection with the trail you are on behind you take a step or two into the woods straight ahead, you will see the old well (now mostly filled in) of an old home site.
Over the stone wall behind the well is an old log.
The box is in the wall base near the stump end of the log.

Now to get back, go back the way you came or, with the well to your back take the trail to your right.
At the end go left, keep going straight staying left at the small field and you will return to the first turn in the clue near the bridge.

We hope you enjoy the walk it is about a half an hour.
