Start at Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary, 10 Juniper Rd., Belmont, MA.

Walk from the parkinglot to the welcome sign post where you can pick up a trail map.

To your left you will see a circular path that takes you past the front entrance of the Visitor's Center. Start walking on that circular path. Before you get to the entrance of the Visitor's Center, you will see a paved path on your right, leading through the bushes and toward the garages.

After you have walked through the bushes and you can see the garages, turn to the left and follow the paved path down the hill and toward the greenhouses.

When you get to the greenhouses you will see a path to the left of the greenhouses that will take you up the hill.

The path will lead you through an opening in a rock wall. The path will then turn to the right and follow alongside the rock wall to a trail marker.

Take a left onto the Red Maple Trail.

The trail will take you across a bridge and up a path, eventually bringing you to a fork in the road. When you get to that fork in the road, take a right down Highland Farm Loop.

When you come to a tree marked with a yellow Q, take a right on Highland Farm Loop.

Follow the trail until you come to the Fern Trail marker, then take a left.

Continue to follow the trail until you get to a fork in the road (it is a very short distance), take a left and continue following the trail.

Right before you get to Highland Farm, you will see a path on your right, heading up a hill. The path is bordered by logs. Follow this path up the hill and keep following it to a trail marker with a yellow O on it. Continue on the path that you have been taking, DO NOT take the path slightly to the left. Follow the path until you come to a dead tree that has been cut into logs.

Stand at the base (stump) of this tree.

Take 65 steps along the path.

Look for 3 large rocks in a line on the left.

Walk towards the first of these rocks.

In the jumble of debris right in front of the rock lies your treasure, buried under leaves.
