Time: 15 minutes. Distance ~ 100 yards round trip
Please bring your stamp, a stamp pad, pen and an old rag to wipe off the box/your hands.

The "Safari Man- On The Highway/ and Interstate" series depicts things one might see as they drive the highways of the U.S. These are targeted mainly for rest stops but might pop up anywhere. This letterbox is titled BUT OFFICER . Happy traveling!

Traveling East on I-40 pass Hickory and then find the rest stop at about the 135 mm.
Park at the first car parking spot or use it for reference for the rest of the clues. Go straight across the parking area from the first spot and all the way to the tree line. Find the short stump that was to my left a little when I crossed over. From the stump go 7 step to the right down the tree line to another tree (has a large vine securely attached to the trunk) and then another 10 steps past this one to another one which is slightly smaller. Face this tree looking back into the woods (if you extend your right hand straight right you would be pointing at the maintenance building off a ways). Looking straight ahead past this tree you will see two trees growing close together and the one on the left leans left. Look behind these trees under limbs to find this situation. One which I hope you do not encounter on your trip.
Please use discretion when retrieving and replacing this box and reseal the baggies completely and rehide as found. And if you would send me a note about the condition of the box I would appreciate it. Happy Traveling, Glenn/Safari Man

I hope you enjoyed this respite from your weary drive and will give me feed back on the results of your find. Cordially, Glenn/Safari Man of Vincent, Ohio. And please reseal the baggies completely and rehide as found.
