This is the location of our favorite Christmas light show. Make sure you go after dark and tune your radio to 93.7 FM. This is also a drop-off point for “Toys for Tots”, so you can even take along a new, unwrapped toy to donate!

Find the place where Highways 55 and 44 join together. From there, head east for 4-5 miles until you reach N Pierce Park Ln. Take a left at the stop light onto Pierce Park. Go about 0.6 miles to W. Parapet Ct. You should be able to start hearing the show on the radio at about this point. Turn right onto Parapet, which eventually dead ends in a cul-de-sac. Find a place to park in the cul-de-sac, but please don’t block any of the neighbors’ driveways or drive on their lawns.

After you’ve parked, walk through the “rainbow tunnel” to find little Rudolph’s hiding place behind a small “Frosty” that’s between the two large doors at the end of the tunnel.

There are likely to be several other people watching the show from their cars, so be careful when retrieving and replacing the box. :) There’s an “intermission” between each playing of the show, so you may want to consider stamping in then.

This box will only be available through Dec. 31, 2007.
