Directions to Holcomb Farm: From the center of Granby, take Route 20
West approximately 2.5 miles to Day Street South on the left. Follow
Day Street South a short distance to the end. You can't miss the big
red barns directly in front of you that mark Holcomb Farm.

Walk between the sheep pen and the barn, turn right and then head west to the trail over the bridge. After crossing the bridge, open (and close) the gate to the field, cross through the field to the second gate (open and close). Turn right and go across the BIG bridge, at foot of ramp head west to the yellow trail. At the Y turn right until you see a set of stairs on the left. At the top of the stairs turn right onto the blue trail. Walk a long way on blue (passing many side trails) until you get to the first bridge (it has a no horses sign). After crossing the bridge there's a Holcomb sign (with arrow) on the right. With your right shoulder to the sign, walk straight into the woods to the second downed tree. Look in root end for barn #1.

Continue on blue, then turn right onto green. At the top of the hill, green makes a sharp left turn. At the next junction, turn right onto purple (some blazes are faded). At the N.W. Passage sign, turn left (still on purple) pass the LOOKOUT sign and go to the picnic table on the left. From the table site 290 degrees to a small tree with a hole near the base. Just to the left of that tree, under the overhang of a rock (with a rotted tree on top) is barn #2.
Retrace your steps back to the car unless you have a map.

Red ink is needed. Cover well.
Grabbing a map from the map holder would be a good idea.
