Directions to Holcomb Farm: From the center of Granby, take Route 20
West approximately 2.5 miles to Day Street South on the left. Follow
Day Street South a short distance to the end. You can't miss the big
red barns directly in front of you that mark Holcomb Farm.

Walk between the sheep pen and the barn, turn right and then head west to the trail over the bridge. After crossing the bridge, open (and close) the gate to the field, cross through the field to the second gate (open and close). Turn right and go across the BIG bridge, at foot of ramp head west to the yellow trail. At the Y go left still following yellow blazes coming to a stream crossing with a rope handrail (Jonah's gonna love this one :-). After crossing a regular bridge, go uphill and continue straight onto the blue trail (yellow turns to the right). Watch on the left for a green trail (just before the white) go left and just as the green trail starts to turn right there's a crooked tree on the right and then a small double blazed tree on the left. Site 280 degrees from the double blaze and look in the hollow end of a downed tree for the Trio. **take your reading from the second small double-blazed tree. The trail maintenance team added an earlier double-blaze to make the turn even more clear, and if you take a 280 degree reading from it, there is a different fallen tree with a hollow end!**

Retrace your steps back to your car unless you have a map.

Red or brown ink will do nicely. Don't push this box in too far, the hollow is deep.
