Horse Power Farm Series #7 LbNA #37090

This is box # 7 in the farm series. I felt it appropriate to do a farm series of boxes because we are farmers! My son lives nearby and I live about 5 miles to the SE. This box is especially meaningful to me because I have a picture of my great-grandfather Ora Murphy holding a pair of matched Belgians. Grandpa Murphy was very proud of the many horses he owned during his lifetime and was known as an honest horse trader. To find Horse Power you will want to take State Rte. 127 to North Star, and turn west at the one and only stoplight in North Star. In town this will be Star Road, out of town it is North Star-Ft. Loramie Rd. Take this road approximately 2.2 miles until you come to Ross-Medford Rd. Turn right, north, and drive a mile or so until you come to Holsapple Cemetery on your left. Enter through the brick entrance and park just at the curve. Following the western most back two rows of graves walk north until you come to the graves of Samuel and Sidney Haney. You will see a large split tree and will find Horse Power in that tree.
