Kissing Rocks LbNA # 37133 (ARCHIVED)
|Placed Date||Dec 13 2007|
|Location||Tucson/ Finger Rock Trail, AZ|

From the corner of Alvernon Way and Playa de Coronado, find Dick McGee, and don't bring your dog! Scramble uphill for less than a minute and and pause to read the signs.
Ignore the #410; instead get ready to follow the #42 carefully to the left.
Start counting your steps! Somewhere between 160-176 steps (2 minutes) into the trail, look to the left and you will see 2 large boulders which appear to be kissing (or forming an arch). Watch your footing and be on critter alert on the rocks! Although you can't see the letterbox directly from the trail, it is easily retrieved from an open area directly under the arch.
*** Sadly, I noticed on 11 29 08 that this LB is MIA. Please consider it retired until further notice. I hope to replace it very soon, but don't want anyone to waste time looking when I know it's no longer in place. Sorry about any inconveniece.
