This was our second stop on our Disney cruise and since there are several letterboxes on the east end of the island we rented a car and set off on our adventure. The drive to all of the boxes is much too far to take a cab. While we did take the long way to one of the boxes, we did drive about 80 miles by the end of the day. We found a car rental place just north of the north pier. It was called Cayman Auto Rentals at 135 North Church Street (http://www.caymanautorentals.com.ky/). We rented a Jeep for about $100 for the day plus gas. They had mini vans for a little less and also rent scooters. It was rainy that day so we opted for a roof. There are a couple of gas stations along the road on the way back from East End and another toward seven mile beach a little way. Be sure to ask if they take US currency unless you have Caymanian. It was a bit confusing and we think we overpaid for our gas--the one we went took would take US, but gave change in Caymanian. It seems their gas stations are also full service. REMEMBER TO DRIVE ON THE LEFT!

We placed Sir Turtle while on our way back from our East End adventure.

There is a castle that stands guard nearby
When you see it you might wonder why.

Then spot the signs for the Wreck of the Ten Sails
And you may learn some additional details.

There is a small parking area between the propeller and the keel
Neither of which are made of steel.

Follow the path all the way to the plaque
Then you'll know your are on the right track.

Notice around you the strange cement posts
Then spy the one to your right that is most close.

Behind this post and under some rocks
Is where you will find the letterbox.

Be aware that the castle has a great view
And if you are not careful they will see you.

When you are done be sure to be stealthy
So this box can remain a long time and healthy.

Be sure to cover it and hide it completely
Everything you do should be done discretely.

No box should suffer from improper re-hidation
Lost boxes are such a point of frustration.

Do your part to help elongate its life
So future boxers can be spared lost box strife.

Please be sure to let us know
How it is your search did go.

On LBNA use contact the placer
So as to leave a bit of a tracer

It is especially important that you make extra super double triple sure that ALL of the baggies are sealed. We are obviously not from the island and will not likely be back to check on it. Let us know if it is in need of maintenance and we'll post it in the clue in case the next visitor can take care of the problem.
