4/28/19 - just heard from SherlockMiles that the 'canoe portage' sign is gone, so just look for triple tree with double on left
-----------------------------------------------------------

June 2013 - still haven't gotten down there. Heard today that the parking lot was gone.

2012 - this one is not in good shape - apparently very wet. I don't expect to be able to get to it for maintenance in the near future. Will update when I do.

Having finished a very long night's work, one of Santa's reindeer decided to take a leisurely trip back to the North Pole starting along the Appalachian Trail. He got a little distracted tho' and decided to stop and enjoy the area around Bulls Bridge.

From Rt. 7 take Bulls Bridge Rd west. After passing through the bridge, pull into the parking area on the right and park. Now head back toward the bridge and stop by the information sign. Take the trail behind the sign. Go up past the Canoe Portage sign and then to the triple tree. Look to the left for the double tree and check in the middle.

Today was pretty cold and yet there was a group of kayakers heading into the river late in the day. It's a pretty area but that seems a bit extreme to me!
