Harry walked slowly near the edge of the forest on the stony bank, uncomfortable in the knowledge of what he must do, but relieved in a sense that his quest was nearing an end. The aura of death hung in the air. As he traveled downhill his mind returned to happier days when he had enjoyed watching the martins return to their nest at The Burrow. He wondered what had become of those birds. He walked to the east along the gravel path that, according to Hagrid, went to a stream and a pond. Unexpectedly, he arrived at a metal gate at the edge of a gravel clearing. Touching the metal post, it was as though he had been transported by a portkey. The other side of the gateway seemed much different, beginning with the small stand of hemlocks he spotted to his right. After walking a few steps he spied a trail heading uphill at an angle to the right and followed it, climbing over the large tree that had fallen across the path. Eventually he arrived at a flat area and the ruins of an old house - probably the last thing he expected to find in the Forbidden Forest. Here he sensed the presence of Death Eaters. Clutching his invisibility cloak about him, he turned to the left and passed through a field that looked something like where a former great room had once stood, before arriving at the other edge of the homestead. Turning left again, he followed the foundation to the corner. Walking downhill a few more steps, he realized that he would not be able to see what went on in the “great room” if he continued. Instead, he turned left a third time and paced off approximately eleven double steps before spying three large rocks, seemingly in a natural row. He sat on the dark one farthest to his left and waited.

[Unfortunately, there is a bit of fairly old trash in the vicinity of the old homestead. I removed a lot of it but any additional help you can provide is much appreciated. Please rehide the box carefully, as the parking lot may be a popular hangout.]
