**STATUS UPDATE!***
We have just heard that this letterbox is currently missing. We will investigate next time we're in the area and will either replace or remove the listing.

This is our first box placement, and as such is very special to us. We chose Weeki Wachee Springs because of the rich Florida history there. Weeki Wachee's live mermaid shows were one of the nation's leading attractions in the 1950's; people came from all over the country to see the beautiful mermaids perform. Now the park is not frequented as it was, but is still an enchanting place for people of all ages. Aside from the amazing mermaid performances, the park also boasts a River Boat Nature Cruise, a nature trail, an eatery, and an animal show. On the day that we placed this box, we were able to catch the boat tour, walk along the nature path, and also spend some great time with friends as we saw the live mermaid show. This is a truly fun place, and well worth the small admission fee.

Go to weekiwachee.com for more information.

And now for the clue:

When you enter the park, we highly recommend you take a trip on the River Boat Nature Tour. As you leave the boat, find a "tranquil" place on your right. Follow the red brick road to the right, and admire the flowers and trees around you. When you come to a bench on your left, have a seat. Take a moment to enjoy the view of the river, and the sounds of nature all around you. Take notice of the path of roots that leads down to the river bank ahead and to your right. Walk about halfway down to the river and see the hollow cypress stump on your left. The box is hidden within, covered in leaves. Please remember to poke before you pick, and to be mindful of muggles. The aforementioned bench would be a great place to stamp. :)

We hope that you enjoy all this park has to offer!
