Llano Estacado Winery is located south of Lubbock, Texas, in the main Texas grape growing area. The winery has a small tasting room, with a fun staff to help. The wine selection is big, and most were fairly good.
Directions:
From Lubbock, go south on Hwy 87 to FM 1585. Turn left and go for a ways until you see the winery sign on the right. Pull in and park near the building.
To the Microbox:
Find the rectangle rock garden at the edge of the parking area toward the main road. Walk to the back side of the middle large rock in this area. Box is hidden under the middle bottom edge of this rock, covered by little rocks.
