SOUTH HILLS LETTER BOX
Replaced the Box on December 28, 2009
The box is located on the edge of South Hills Park in South Lebanon Township. You will need a compass, pen and paper. Paces counted on every step taken. No dogs are permitted in the park. Park closes at sundown. The walk will be an easy one, enjoy.
1. To the east of the large flagpole by the main parking lot, look for a “well”.
2. From the “well” proceed 117 Paces 190'Magnetic to the 1st Marker Clue. Use this marker to decipher the code in number seven below.
3. From the 1st clue marker proceed 145 Paces, 120' Magnetic to the 2nd Clue Marker. Use this marker to decipher the code in number seven below.
4. From the 2nd Clue Marker look to the east for the Black # 5.
5. From the Black # 5 proceed 080' Magnetic until you find the cement rectangle (horizontal) with a circle.
6. From the rectangle with a circle proceed 080' Magnetic to the first tree, here you find your last clue.(the answer to number seven will help you)
7. 1st Marker Clue=1MC / 2nd Marker Clue=2MC
a. 1MC 4/10 = I 1MC 4/12 = ?
b. 1MC 2/2 = ? 2MC 3/2 =? 2MC 1/8 = ?
