The Scarlet Pimpernel is one of my all time favorite books. If you haven’t read it, pop into the library and pick up a copy for tonight. RTRW carved this stamp for her anti-boxer and has graciously allowed me to plant it. Thanks RTRW.

Directions: From the intersection of route's 118 & 4 in Harwinton, take 118 west for 0.3 miles. Turn left onto Bently Drive. Drive to the Town Offices (after waving hello to the Fountain of History) follow that driveway around to the back of the library, passing (on the right) the sign for the preserve and the trailhead.

After parking, walk back to the white trail and go downhill, crossing a brook on stepping stones. The trail levels out and follows the brook. At the T intersection, go left on scarlet and soon see a couple of boulders on the right. One of them has a tree growing on top. Look under the NE side of the other one for the plastic box.

Bring scarlet ink. Hide this better than you found it. I’d REALLY hate to see it go missing. Thanks
