This box is located in Lake Overlook Park on Lake Georgetown. This park is on DB Wood Rd. off William's Drive in the western part of the city.
A short walk will bring you to the box, but longer hike and bike trails are found here as well.

To find box: Park down by trail in lot with sign that says: San Gabriel River Trail.
See the stone overlook with the plaque "North Fork of San Gabriel River ..." on it and turn right towards an opening in the fence that starts a trail. This opening has a sign which reads " No glass or styrofoam..."
Walk about 75 steps past this fence opening, on the trail, until you come to an area with several trails intersecting.
You will see 4 large boulders and a trail beyond these boulders which runs roughly north. Hop over the boulders and take this trail approximately 200 steps.
Look left about 10-15 feet off the trail to a large "V" trunked oak with a rock stuck in its base/roots. This oak is just before a clearing. Just behind the "V" trunked tree is some rocks with the box underneath.
