In Camp Sherman, OR there is a lovely rustic retreat center called Lake Creek Lodge. A creek snakes its way under footbridges and among cabins to bring nature literally to your doorstep. If you are visiting Sisters, OR, or spending the day at HooDoo, I recommend you take a little jaunt off the beaten path an go looking for Something Fishy.

Also check out the clues for the original letterbox planted at Lake Creek Lodge by my letterboxing mentor, bedlamite9.

To find Something Fishy:

Drive into the Lodge entrance of the Lake Creek Lodge resort. Park your car in a spot near the road. Walk past the 2-swing playground, between it and the road. Cross over a footbridge. Turn left and follow the path past 3.5 cabins. Veer left again with the path and cross over a second footbridge (this is the scenic loop!). Just across this footbridge is the party deck. Look for the "liberty bell". At the base of the nearest tree, snug in the corner, rocks and pinecones are harboring Something Fishy. Have a nice stroll!
