The Olive Palm letterbox

This letterbox is located in Holiday Park, off of Sunrise Boulevard, and Federal Highway (US1) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Please remember to conceal the box as it was found, because the locale is in an open and accessible area. Despite being in a small nook, you can still make out the box by simply walking by it, unless the back is covered as well. You’ll see what I mean. Try not to be too noticeable, either. I guess we’ll see how long this box lasts :D

Clues:

**note: Don’t trust #2**

Here’s a sonnet for your troubles:

Seek the singsong sound of children’s mirth,
Find the long-dead iron giant there,
Face the setting sun and search the earth,
Tread left the gravel path, breathe deep the air.

Enjoy the gentle trail before thee,
But watch with care for number fourteen,
For behind it grows an olive tree,
In which your next trophy rests unseen.

Step up and search the olive’s closed palm,
Collect your prize and savor the calm.
