This stamp was lovingly carved by RTRW for Patrick and Amy. She said she never got to see them to give it to them and asked me to plant it close for them to find.
Take route 2 East to the end of the expressway in Norwich. At the intersection, go straight onto route 169. At your first light, take a right onto Ox hill Rd. Go around the rotary to Wilderness Rd, then right onto Mohegan Rd. Park your vehicle in the parking lot on your left across the street from the swimming area.
Facing the pond, walk to the right upper corner of the parking lot (toward the marked gas pole) and find the beginning of your trail. Turn right and then take an immediate left. Continue on this path until you come to a fork, go right and continue until another junction (big rotary type) and go left. Walk until you see a trail coming in from the left..stop, take a reading of 70 degrees (right) and go the back of a pyramid rock.
After stamping in recover gently with the much too big rock.
