This box is located in San Gabriel Park in Georgetown. San Gabriel Park is a nice place with playgrounds, hike/bike trail, large shady trees and is a good place for a picnic. Though we did not locate this box near the river which is prone to floods, it is across a small dry creek bed, so avoid times with recent rains.
"Happy Valentines" is placed and simple stamp is designed by the 6 year old in our family, in honor of the upcoming holiday.
This is a short walk.
To find: Locate the low water crossing for autos, and close by you will see some red exercise equipment, similiar to chin-up bars/ladder. Park by these red "bars" and take the gravel walking trail to the right. Walk a few minutes until you find the disc golf "hole" #2. At this #2 hole and facing the #2, locate a large V shaped oak to the Northwest (300 degrees), about 32 strides away (and across a dry creek bed). Under the large roots of this oak, the letterbox is placed. Please recover well.
