~This is a former postal letterbox that has been searching for a home. He finally found just the right spot: secluded, sunny and a wonderful seasonal vista.
There is no ink pad in this box and markers will help you create the image in the log book.
Find your way to the main entrance of The Oswegatchie Hills Nature Preserve. You can either download a map of this preserve before you go or look at the map board once you are there.
Make your way to where you have a seasonal vista of the Niantic River, Smith Cove and Niantic Bay. Go all the way to the end.
Stand with the orange "END" sign about six feet to your left and take a reading of 330 degrees. You will see a low, flat rock. Look under its overhang to find the King. Please be sure to tuck him back in snugly.
Be sure to enjoy all of the wonderful trails that this amazing preserve has to offer. I am certain that many more letterboxes will be calling this place home...
