Tired from his long migratory flight, the Humble Hummer was drawn to the city of St. Joseph. On the street with an appropriate avian name, he found the perfect petite park where tiny tots play and adults sit and ponder.
Flitting from tree to tree, he landed on the bearded one. It made him think of warmer climes and desert islands. He hopped around the right side of the trunk towards the fence behind the tree. Just across from the fence post, about 3 feet up, he is nestled down taking a well-deserved nap.
