These boxes are hidden in and throughout Redmond. NOTE-There will be a 2 hour introductory class to letterboxing called Letterboxing For Kids held on Saturday August16th from 9-11am. Go to www.redmond.gov and check out the parks and rec guide. Course number is 24892 and there are 5 spaces available(as of 7/23/08).
If you are interested in hunting the Harry Potter series, there will be a Saturday day camp from 10-4pm on October 4th through Redmond Parks and Recreation. Course numbers and links will be posted the second week of August. Each day camp is limited to 9 participants.
The second day camp which will involve all of the Harry Potter and Chamber of Secrets letterboxes will be held on Saturday, October 11th from 10-4pm.
The third day camp will be the premeire of the third series, Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban. It will be held Saturday, October 18th. Participants for this third series will have to have taken one of the previous letterboxing courses or the 2008 Spring Break camp to attend this as we will be basing many of the hunting clues from the previous sessions.
First Finders' Prizes are included in the third series because it is an official launch.
Again course numbers and links for registration will be posted the second week of August 2008. Space is limited so please register early.
