The "Safari Man- On The Highway/ and Interstate" series depicts things one might see as they drive the highways of the U.S. These are targeted mainly for rest stops but might pop up anywhere. This letterbox is titled LOG HAULER. Happy traveling!

Traveling North East on I-71 between Cincinnati and Columbus get off at the rest stop at about the 66 mile marker rest stop (just past the interchange with OH 35). Go to the last car parking spot just past the pet exercise sign and just short of the dumpsters and park. From this spot head past the dumpsters toward the right hand of the two large evergreen trees behind the dumpsters. Just right of this tree is a row of evergreen shrubs that run westerly along a fence line. Look around to make sure you are unobserved from the picnic tables, dog walkers and the truck parking lot and if not, retrieve your quest from the first shrub right of the tree. Look behind it about chest high for the Log Hauler attached to a branch of the shrub. Unwrap the wire from the limb and take it to your car for the ceremonies. When done stamping, please double bag the log book and make sure both baggies are resealed completely to protect the log from moisture (the pouch is obviously not waterproof). And please rehide the pouch as found, unobserved and hidden by branches). I hope this short break from the high way makes your trip more enjoyable and when you get a chance, please let me know the condition of the letterbox and anything else you would like to share. Cordially, Safari Man
