WELCOME TO LAUREL HILL TRACT .
From Route 161 Take Laurel Hill Road to North Ledge Road and park in the cul-de-sac.
This is a new trail , blazed in GOLD . a perfect trail to Welcome you to Laurel Hill Preserve .To find The Welcome Pineapple follow the Gold Trail down and over a tiny stream . Many rocks live here so you can hop over any water and get to dry land . The trail climbs up through rocks and you might see a blue house close by . Go southward past a large jumble of rock The trail soon comes to an intersection. . Stay on the Gold Trail , The White Trail we will save for another day .
Walk along through the Laurel which will be lovely in the early spring. Twist and turn a bit and soon notice on your left , a huge bolder , the trail turns sharply left here . Stop and , look due east to a large tree with a gold blaze , right at the turn. Here you will find the Welcome Pineapple . !
This is a very short walk and will treat you to a pretty place . I wonder where the white trail goes ??? Hummmm
Thanks to RTRW for the carving and Donutz for going with me on this adventure . You can return to your car the way you came, or continue on the Gold a short way and be surprised where it ends. We were !!
