Earth is “Home Sweet Home” to people, plants, and animals because it has both water and the right kind of atmosphere. Nearly two thirds of the planet is covered with water. The air is made up of nitrogen, oxygen and a little bit of carbon dioxide, making it just right for us to breathe. These are just a couple important things that make Earth different from the other planets.
Instructions for your journey:
To make your “Discovery!” near the “Center of Idaho” (actually, it’s more like the center of Boise), start at the sun. No need to be indoors for this, but if you’re not indoors, there should be some tinted glass between you and the sun.
From the sun, travel to Mercury, Venus, then Earth. If you already know where Earth is, you can go directly there to avoid some travel that could be slightly challenging if you’re on a bike or pushing a stroller, etc. When you have arrived at Earth, you are VERY close to this box. All you need to do is look in the middle of a branchy environment that stays at about 100 degrees year-round.
Please be very discrete and take care to re-hide well.
Note: This is also the starting point for finding the “Red Planet” box.
