River Scene Trail LbNA #38118 (ARCHIVED)

River Scene Trail is in Castlewood State Park in Ballwin. Enter the park at the Kiefer Creek Road entrance (just off of Ries). Proceed to the Trail Head parking lot. Take the River Scene Trail up to the bluffs, and onward across the bluffs. Enjoy the beautiful view along the way! On the way down is a long set of stairs. Count them (include the steps and landings). Get to the step that is the number of presidents (up to and including "W") times three, plus the number of dwarves. You will reach a small deck that overlooks a set of stone steps. Look under the last step leading to that deck. Move aside the leaves and stones to find the letterbox.
