20JUN17 Alive and Well
This letterbox is located near the San Gabriel Mission,
founded by Father Junipero Serra in 1771.
It is located at 428 South Mission Drive in San Gabriel, California.
Park in the main parking lot and then find the statue
of the founder of the California missions near the front of the mission.
From the statue, follow the path to the right until you
reach the gates where three souls guard the dead.
Walk straight through the gates until you find Aurelia's lamb.
Turn right and visit Rene, Luisa, Margaret and the McSweeneys.
Follow the concrete wall toward the mountains for 25 paces.
Past the wire gate and find the treasure five feet up
in the very tall lonely green soldier. Get behind it and with
the wall toward back reach to the left 5 feet up camo bag hangs
Before you head home, check out the "Sounds of Joy" letterbox nearby.
