The #9 is our first box to hide and was placed in honor of our son's 9th birthday. Nine little boys decided where to plant this box and it is in a great location to be a lot of fun for the whole family. It is a less than 1 mile off the interstate with gas station and McDonalds access. Well worth the adventure!
These are the clues for the #9 letterbox –
Off of I-65 take Exit 299 and turn to follow the sign for Hwy. 69 South. (Left at the exit if you are traveling North and Right at the exit if you are traveling South)
Go approximately 0.2 miles and take your first left on to Howard Circle.
You will be facing Dodge City Town Hall.
Drive behind the Town Hall and be sure to wave to Loyal White.
Follow the gravel road until you see a stream and a bridge on your left.
Park in this area and take the 9 steps down toward the bridge.
Cross the bridge and stand on the North side. I am “inclined” to think you will find it here at the end of the bridge.
