On the Portsmouth/Middletown Line, a nice stop on the way to Newport, this is a very easy quick walk. Take Rte 138S from Portsmouth, as soon as you enter Middletown take a left on Mitchells Lane. Albro Woods will be right up ahead on your right.
Take the path in the middle, with the Albro rock on your left and the dog leash sign on your right. Stay straight on the path. You will pass a large flat topped rock on your left. Pass a path on your left, stay straight. Pass a big trunked tree on your left. The trees and branches are always falling so the landscape is always changing. You will come to a spot with a path to your right, stop. look alittle to your left you will see alot of trees, walk between them thru some brush, in front of you is some large fallen down trees, go straight into them, going over and under them until you will see a rock wall with what looks like a big bite taken out of it, go over the wall at this spot. Walk on top of a big pile of rocks. Look to your left you will see trees, two of them are close together, in between them is a pile of rocks. The box is under the rocks. Make sure you cover the box with rocks when you are done. on the way back take any path, all paths lead back to the parking lot. The Ts.
