BOX 1: Humphrey at Matthew Henson Trail
December 27, 2010- In Location
Directions:
Go to Georgia Ave near Aspen Hill Rd
Turn on to Rippling Brook Dr.
pass to where it intersects at Bayview Ln.
Go the dead end with the 2 red diamonds,
there is the hill. You will see the hill,
go down the hill until you hit a trail,
it is Matthew Henson Hiker-Biker Path.
Make a right at the path. You will pass,
a bench. You will approach a trail of
wooden boards watch the railing
on the right. When it ends.
Jump, you will land on a stump.
Face the horses’ faces look below
, see a fallen tree. Look for a
fork in that tree under the fork
you will see our letterbox.
BOX 2: Munch on the Trail
December 27, 2010- In Location
DIRECTIONS:
Continue down the trail where you left off
on the boardwalk. You will cross a bridge
that goes over a creek. At the end of the boardwalk
make a right turn and look right under the boardwalk,
here lies The "Munch on the Trail" Letterbox
NOTE:
If you have already found Boxes 1 and 2 consider starting at Layhill Road and Middlevale Lane intersection
BOX 3: The Rabbit

Return to the trail
Go on another boardwalk
Cross another bridge
Pass a tennis court
Cross Layhill Road at Middlevale Lane
Turn left onto sidewalk then merge off onto asphalt trail.
Trail curves right as you pass a bench
When you reach a yellow "4-way intersection sign" go 11 steps then turn right Go 8 steps at a large log. Look in the hole in the log on the left side,
You may have to search a little.
Make sure it is not visible from the trail.
BOX 4: The Acorn

Return to the trail.
Cross another road
Pass a baseball diamond
Pass another sign
Pass a bench
You'll reach another bridge...
But don't cross!
Look under it on the left side 2.5 planks from the first post.
If you reach Atherton Drive you've gone too far.
The only way to return is to go back the way you came.
