The previous box was found at the 1st split in the road. At the 2nd split veer left. This is a great area to see turtles and young gators! Sometimes if you listen you can hear the babies calling for their mommies...at which time you will want to hop back into your car!
The last box in the series will be found at the 3rd split in the road. Again veer to the left. The final box will be hidden approx 20 yards from the point where the roads merge together again. On your left you will see a tree with 3 large tall trunks. The box is nestled in the pocket formed by the tree trunks. Again...beware gators & poison ivy! The mosquitos are killer too! I think I saw one carry off a small child on my last visit!?
I LOVE this wildlife drive and have never been disappointed! If you haven't seen any gators...perhaps you are moving too quickly and are not looking hard enough...they are everywhere!...maybe even RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!!!
