Paffard Woods
South bound I-95 Exit 91 take a left at end of exit and go straight through traffic light, aprox.1 tenth mile take a left onto North Main Street (to Route US 1)
North bound I-95 Exit 91 take a right at end of exit, aprox. 1 tenth mile take a left onto North Main Street
Go 1.1 mile, look for opening in stone wall on your right; this is the entrance to the parking area for Paffard Woods.
If you get to a traffic light and Rte 1 turn around... you missed it.
Start down the path next to the Brown sign "Paffard Woods"
Duck under the wire, bear right at the "Y" in the path. Cross the stream being careful of the loose rocks. Continue along this trail until you come to another "Y"; You will see a Gray birch tree with 3 Blue Marks continue to the Right.
Soon you will notice a large gray oak next to a stone wall on your right.
Continue a few more paces and you will pass through an opening in a wall in the path. Aprox. 18-20 paces through the opening, notice a "T" in the stone wall on your Right
Go off the path to the right and pass through the right side of the "T". One pace forward, turn to your left, at the bottom of the wall there is a "tear drop" shaped flat rock. Behind it you will find your treasure!
Please rehide in the original spot and don't forget the "teardrop" shaped rock! This was our first letterbox. Happy Letterboxing!
