Clues
Blue is my favorite dog on television, because she is blue. And she is smart. She teaches me a lot about using clues to solve every day problems. And she's blue.

Directions:
If you are coming from Houston on Highway 59, look for the Coldspring exit (Highway 2025) and take it north about 15 miles to the Double Lake Recreation Area on the right, just before you get to the town of Coldspring.

To the Box:
Go in and pay the fee, then drive into the park. Keep to the right at the intersection and park at the end by beautiful Double Lake. Walk toward the lake and take the asphalt path that runs alongside the lake, keeping the lake on your right. Soon you will come to a trail intersection with a trailhead sign giving information about the Lone Star Trail. Go straight through the intersection and you will walk quite a ways, especially if you are a small blue dog. You will follow the trail until you cross an area that has no trees, but does have some electric wire held up by poles. Keep going on the trail until you see a brown trail marker and another trail crosses the main trail. This other trail is for bikes, so watch out for them. Just ahead you will see a sign that says "Hiker Trail", which tells the bike riders to stay off. There is another short path on the left, past the intersection, that connects the biker trail with the hiker trail, sort of a short cut. The three trails form a triangle shaped island, and in the middle of the island is a single tall pine tree. Blue is safely resting at the bottom of this tree, awaiting your arrival. Thanks for your visit.
