My mother and I went looking for our first Letterbox today as I forgot my GPSr at home and couldn't look for any geocaches. Mom prefers Letterboxes, so we'll be hiding many more.

This letterbox is hidden along the Ice Age Trail in Janesville. You're looking for a soup thermos about 4" in diameter and 4" deep. Camo wrapped.

Park at the intersection of Mohawk and Lexington. You'll see a very small parkign lot with maybe 5 spaces.

Look straight ahead and you'll see where the paved walking trail goes into the woods - follow that trail.

When you come to the first bench, face it and look for the pimpled tree. go towards that pimpled tree and pass it on the left. Look for the fallen, rotted log and the Lettebox is hidden within. If you get to the tree with the small blue sign, you've gone too far.
