The "Safari Man- On The Highway/ and Interstate" series depicts things one might see as they drive the highways of the U.S. These are targeted mainly for rest stops but might pop up anywhere. This letterbox is titled STREET LEGAL. Happy traveling!

Clues: Traveling eastbound on OH 33 , between Lancaster and Logan , find the rest stop a few miles short of Logan. (there is also another letterbox at the rest stop on the west bound lane just across the road) Enter your rest stop and go to the last car parking spot on the right, just before the handicap spots (or as close as you can get) and park. Please be discrete when retrieving and replacing this box since you are probably viewable from the picnic tables and cars located not far away. Walk east around the line of hedge and continue heading east to the fence/pine tree line at the border of the rest stop. Now head northish (toward the highway) and go to the last pine tree, which is also in front of the corner post of the fence behind it. Circle around to the back of the pine tree from the highway side (to be less conspicuous) and look in the top of the corner post, under the vines (I hope there is not a bird nest of top of the pouch, as I cleaned one out before placing the pouch). NOTE: The pouch has been relocated by a friendly/concerned letterboxeras per the following:
So what I did was move your pouch to the second post----going back that same line of posts and pine trees---and put it at the base----in between the fence and the post. That way anyone who gets back there will see it if they are looking at all---and it is secure and protected from the elements. And I thank TrailTracker for her assistance with a letterbox in distress!!!!
When done stamping in, please replace the box as you found it and make sure the zippers for the baggies are closed securely. And if you have time, please be so kind as to let me know the condition of the letterbox by contacting the placer at the top of this clue page. Glad to be of service!!, Glenn/Safari Man...of Vincent, Ohio.
