Driving directions: US-23 south from Chillicothe, then east onto SR-372 (the park entrance).
Difficulty: Moderate climb up slope.
CLUES: Find the "Ross Family Shelter" sign. Standing in front of the sign, take a reading of 188 degrees. Go to the taller of the 2 pine trees which are at this heading. Standing at the north side of the pine tree, take a reading of 112 degrees. Proceed up the slope at that heading until
you reach a large 3-trunked tree which has moss growing up on the base of the trunk.Stand at the east/northeast side of this tree and take a reading of 67 degrees. There is another tree not too far away at that heading. The box is hidden between the base of that tree and a fallen log resting against it, under some leaves and sticks.
