Lamentation Mountain/Mattabessett Trail
Find Lamentation Road in Meriden and park at the gate. (limited parking) Follow the blue blaze trail. Today is was very wet. Eventually you will begin ascending and the trail is much better. Keep climbing until you reach a double blaze on the left and a rock ledge close by that is due north. Look in ledge. Continue on to find other boxes or return to your car the way you came.
