Drive one block east of State Street on North Temple (N. Temple becomes 2nd Avenue at State Street). At 2nd Avenue and Canyon Road, turn north onto Canyon Road. Continue driving north until you see a gate at the end of the road. Park on the street and walk into Memory Grove Park, using the east sidewalk.
Walk until you come to a stone bridge crossing the creek. Face the bridge. Turn around--there are bathrooms located in the building in front of you. Now is a good time to use them!
Cross the stone bridge. Walk north up the dirt path. You will come to a sign designating an off-leash area for dogs. From this sign, take 16 steps, going down toward the creek on an auxiliary path. Face creek. Turn to your right and walk up to the main path until you reach a green railing to the west of the path. Stand on the iron grate. Take 34 steps along the creek, until you come to a rock wall (rocks in metal netting). Walk up to the second level of wall (about 10 steps). Stop and face the mini-waterfall. Listen to the sound of the water.
Turn 45 degrees to your right. Head uphill towards telephone pole on the hill (with big "X" between the parallel poles). Go until the trail becomes a "Y". Turn around. Among the trees directly below is a bent iron bar sticking out from the ground. Take 5 steps north of the bar.
In front of you will be a large tree with thick branches in a "Y" shape. There is a large log about 3 feet to the left of the tree. The box is located beneath a pile of rocks under the log. Please take a sticker and add it to your notebook!
