This box was planted in conjunction with the Louisinna Border Planting Initiative.
Directions: At the intersection of Loop 63 and hwy 80, go East on 80 about 1.5 miles and turn left on Lake. Turn left on Rose and continue to the intersection of Tenth and Jonquil. At the intersection of Jonquil and Hyacinth, turn left and follow all the way around the park. Hyacinth dead-ends into the park. There is a small parking lot here, a playground, picnic area and multi- purpose courts. After parking, head to the trail and go left.
To the Box:
Continue on the trail and cross the street. Continue on the trail and cross the bridge. To your right, will be a paved trail. Go up this trail and stand at the last post on your right. Continue 80 steps and look left. About 6 steps off the trail is a double trunk tree. Box is at the base of this tree. Please place box back in correct place and re-cover well. Thanks!
