While seeking out Journey letterbox, we decided to plant one of our own. This area had a number of trails which looked interesting.

Directions: With thanks to Yankee Cousins, I’m “borrowing” their directions to the parking spot.
From Rt. 44 in Norfolk, take a right onto Maple Avenue, which becomes Lovers' Lane and starts to go downhill. You will see a small pulloff on the left with a boulder and a tree or pole with a double yellow blaze on it. Park here, being careful not to block others. You will also see a chain across the trailhead: pass aound this.

Clues: Follow the yellow blazed trail. It is a mile long loop and is a fairly easy walk. After you pass the Beech Hill Loop cutoff on your right you will start down hill. At the first switch-back to the left, keep straight to the stump with the snake wrapped around it. Look to your right for two rocks behind a tree. Look between the rocks.

When you’re done stamping in, continue on to get the Journey box. There’s also a geocache near it. When you’re done with the loop, you will be on the opposite side of the brook from your car.
