This is a hometown letterbox, right by where I grew up (Riverton). Hope you'll enjoy the nice view of the canyon and the south valley. The road goes all the way through the mountain to Toole if you're feeling like an adventure ride. Contact me if you or the LB need help at cadenza74@earthlink.net

difficulty: easy

***report*****
I have been told that there may have been construction on the road where I left the box. Some were not able to find it and the pavement seemed to extend beyond where it said it should in the clue. The box may be missing, but I have not been able to confirm it yet. Let me know if you find it. The people who told me that they weren't able to get to it are solid letterboxers I trust, so I suspect that it may have been lost in construction.

Clues: Go through Riverton to find Butterfield Canyon. Drive west on 12600 South. 6 miles from the Bangerter Highway there is a turnoff for the canyon just as the highway turns (there is a sign there that directs you to the Wild Horse Center). Travel up the road 4.8 miles until the road turns into a dirt road. The letterbox is hidden approximately 20 feet from there by some brush just off the road on the side with the view. There are several rocks covering it to keep it hidden, please replace them.
