New Market Park- 9418 John Sevier Road New Market, Virginia.

1) Follow the signs to the New Market Community Park. As you may not know the town of New Market was established in 1784.
2) As you enter the park, take the first left into the first parking lot. You’ll see two pavillions, enter number three, which is located closest to the parking lot.
3) Go straight out of the front to the pavillion, you’ll see a pine tree. Walk over to the pine tree across the road.
4) Once under the pine tree, look towards the BBQ pit, after you’re facing the BBQ pit turn left and you’ll see a smaller pavillion. Walk over to that pavillion.
5) Face the yellow, blue, and red play ground. Walk towards it, in the middle you will discover a path called the Fitness Trail. Turn left facing the fitness station number seventeen.
6) Starting at station seventeen and walk towards the tennis courts until you reach station eighteen on the right side of the trail.
7) Keep going until you reach a little sign marked one mile.
8) Now facing the softball field, you’ll see a gazebo. Go to it. The park is also home of the New Market Rebel Baseball Team.
9) Go in the gazebo and stand in the center, look straight up and you should see a light. Follow the support beam to the power source of the light. Go to support beams to the left and look straight ahead. You will see a big bush, go look under it.
