Sioux Falls is the home of Raven Industries, among whose products in the past have been hot air balloons, and Tuthill Park, in the southeastern part of the city, has been a launching site for many flights.
Enter Tuthill Park from South Cliff Avenue, and drive to the upper parking lot. Head to the sliding hill. From the top of the hill, and to your right, you'll see a chain link fence along the right side of the slope. Follow the path to the right of the fence to the lower end, where there stands a four-sister tree. Directly across the path from this tree, to the north, you'll find a three-sister tree. On the north side, at the base, you'll find the hot air balloon, covered with leaves and debris.
Please reseal everything well, and cover again with debris.
You'll want to bring along your colored markers to give this hand carved stamp life in your logbook.
