Red Rock Vegas Prowler LbNA #39707

From the west side of the Las Vegas Beltway (Hwy 215), exit at Charleston Blvd and go west about 5 miles to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. The park is open roughly sunup to sundown every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. There is an entry fee of $15 per car. Enter the 13 mile scenic route. After approximately 7 miles turn Rt towards Willow Springs Picnic Area. Park in the picnic area and locate the info sign.The sign is dark brown wood and may have various notices and info posted on it. Directly across the street from the sign ,behind a large rock, you will see the beginning of a trail. From the edge of the pavement(trail side)take a compass reading of 190- 210* SW. This will point you to the box. Go 115-120 steps (I had to clarify this so that you wouldn't go too far.) from edge of pavement. You will find the box between 2 pine like shrubs, behind a large rock under several smaller rocks. If you get to a wash/riverbed, you have gone too far. (The "pine-like shrubs" are now 5' to 6' tall.

Coming out in June 2019 to check the box. Box was weather worn, but in place. Replaced the container. Happy hunting!
